					New Faculty Orientation Each year, in the early fall, the University of South Florida conducts a New Faculty Orientation for new USF faculty. While the event is organized by the Provost's Office, the Center for 21st Century Teaching Excellence (C²¹TE) plays an important role in the event by designing and delivering several instructional sessions on Blackboard (USF's Learning Management System), the development of learning-centered syllabi, active learning, teaching large classes, teaching in special circumstances, etc. New faculty also receive an introduction to the wide array of services and support for teaching provided by the C²¹TE.
